The studio

Every table starts with a board of timber and the shape of its grain. Resin is poured to follow that figure, then the surface is levelled, sanded, and brought to an even sheen.

How a table is made

From the first board to the finished surface, every table goes through the same careful sequence.

Read about the craft

Resin being polished on a timber table top
  1. 01

    Timber

Boards or a slab are chosen for grain, stability, and the size of the table.

  2. 02

    Preparation

The timber settles in the workshop, then is flattened and joined so the top stays true.

  3. 03

    The pour

Resin is coloured to the brief and poured in layers around or through the timber.

  4. 04

    Finishing

The surface is levelled, sanded through fine grits, and brought to an even sheen.
